    I just bought this game and it blows! Talk about bad beats! I put my $$ in with the best hand 90% of the time and I've gotten beat on the turn or river 75% of the time. The computer raised with 6/4 off suit. I raised my pocket aces, computer called and flops two pair. That's just one example. Don't waste your money. You can get beat like that on here!!!

    I rented this one a couple weeks ago.

    I've played some bad video games in my life but this sets a new standard. This game is like OMG bad, like you don't know bad until you play this game. He talked about the crap that goes on when you play the AI.

    What he didn't mention is the absolutely TERRIBLE online multiplayer. I should need only to say this - once the person that started the table/tournament loses, that's it, game over. It doesn't even attempt to set up a new host, the game ends as soon as the original host busts out.

    There are other, WAY better poker games out there for free, don't waste your money on that terrible game.

    Stacked does sound sweet, though.

    WSOP had commentary but it was extremely limited.

    Seriously, I'm talking like 2 or 3 lines limited, I played it for about 8 hours total before giving up on it. In that time I only heard the commentators say about 4 different lines, if that.

    Seriously, EVERYTHING about that game is bad, I can't think of even one strong point. Right up there with Superman 64 among the worst video games I've played in my entire life.

    well, i think negreanu's game STACKED (comes out november 15th) is gonna easily crush all the poker video games out there... its really been hyped up a lot, and it's even gonna have a special preview show on MTV when the game is set to release

    you should have waited till STACKED... its a game by daniel negreanu (and his friends jennifer harmon, lindgren, david williams, etc)

    it has this cool new program called PokiBot... its basically a program which can play poker at a high skill level... it changes gears, bluffs, all that crap...

    the game comes out on october 15th i think...

    This might be a silly question but i'm curious......Why would you play a poker video game when you odviously have a computer and internet access? If you wanna play for fake chips why not just play for play money on Full Tilt or any other site?

    I guess if the game has some feature where you start out as a small timer and work your way up to a top pro by winning tournaments or whatever I could see that maybe being a reason.

    But other than that I don't get it.

    I like being able to go online with my PSP and play tournies. But I agree that Stacked will be better, and I am sure the WPT game coming soon also will be better.....

    I seen WSOP on on display at Wal_mart i couldn't imagine playing it if you didn't have the spped up option i went all in everyhand and got called everytime sound familiar?

    You answered your own question.

    The career mode is actually pretty good. If you've ever played Tiger Woods, it's sort of like that. The problem is you can't enjoy it because the AI is so bad. They'll make ridiculous calls and win and they do it way too often.

    LOL!!!!!!!!

    I think it's hilarious that they made the computer hyper-aggressive and VERY lucky. I'd like to have that game.

    On games do some research. Even the cable channel G4 hates that game. I look at reviews before I purchase games here
