    Vh1 classic and XM satellite radio are running a contest, with details found on Vh1's website, where you can submit a classic rock playlist, and if yours is deemed the best, you can win $1000, ten tickets to a local concert, a free year of XM satellite radio, and your playlist will be featured on the air with an intro by the winner.

    I submitted:

    Aerosmith-Walk This Way

    Bob Dylan-Like a Rolling Stone

    Cream-Crossroads

    The Eagles-Hotel California

    Jimi Hendrix-Star Spangled Banner

    I miss you and bonzo! I'd love to see you guys on the client sometime,I still remember the good 'ol days of bonzomastas omaha play and shadoe at the rail of my tables.

    As for the classic rock tunes...

    1)Tom Petty:Last Dance with Mary Jane or a few others.

    2)Rush:Tom Sawyer

    3)Cats in the cradle by:pick one(it's been done by everyone,no?)

    4)House of the rising sun:pick one (been done by a few bands also)

    5)Boston:Peace of Mind or More than a feeling

    6)Kansas:Dust in the wind or Carry on my wayward son

    7)Pink Floyd:Comfortably Numb

    8 )I would say "Money for Nothin"by Dire Straights,but I'm not quite sure that would be considered classic rock or not... I want my MTV!

    Dude, a Bon Jovi song wouldnt even crack my top 500 for classic rock songs.
