My blog is http://jongreenwaypoker.blogspot.com and I'll keep it updated daily if I have internet in my room (I'm bringing my laptop and I'd be very surprised if they don't have internet in a 5 star hotel). Hopefully I have more than a couple days to post about . Check it out! I start either the 14th or 15th but I'll be posting about the trip as well, which will be fun. I'm off to LA on the 6th and then to melbourne on the 8th, peace all! Cross your fingers
I was just thinking about posting something about this, was wondering when it was and if you would keep us updated. GL in the Aussie.

gl dude
Congrats on a nice run. I hope you qualify for 2008 and make it to the final table. That or a WPT event. You can do it Jon just believe. Thought I was badplayer but I can play with best of them Still a very nice job down under
Noted. Thanks bud!
Thx to everyone else too. Cross your fingers on the 14th/15th and hopefully deep into the tourney as well.
Good luck Jon.
Damn, Jon, wondering where you stand and they don't have you listed in the mid-day updates, and no update on your blog.
Hope you're doing well!!
Good luck Jon. It will be fun to read your up to the minute (day) happenings!
I wish I wasn't posting right now.
I'm out.

I got a bad beat. I pushed in for 34,000 in late position with AJ hearts and BB called with A8. Yeah... flop comes 8 7 4. He hits 3 outer and game over.
I still can't accept it... I feel like I'm going to puke.
Check my blog for a little more.... http://jongreenwaypoker.blogspot.com. I'll post the rest later.
I hate losing like that in 110th spot when top 80 pay.
Jon is holding his own. A chip count from 11:11 pm EST shows Jon w/ 54,000. There are about 200 players remaining from the original 747, putting the average chip stack at around 75,000.

Patrick Antonius 315,400
115,000 more then next closest
Sorry to hear that man. I can't imagine how that feels when there's that much money on the line. Hopefully you enjoyed the experience of going to Australia and meeting some of he pros. There's always next time right?
Well Jon.. here are a few that would love to have 31,600 going into Day 2. According to cardplayer.com, these players were eliminated:
Steve Zolotow
Allen Cunningham
Greg Mueller
Mel Judah
Huck Seed
Ram Vaswani
Scott Fischman
Roland De Wolfe
Erik Seidel
Jeffery Lisandro
Carlos Mortensen
Richard Brodie
Sorry to hear that, Jon. I read the update on your blog/pokwerwire earlier this AM. That's tough to go out an a 3-outer like that.
Try to enjoy the rest of your time in Australia. At least you got a nice vacation out of it, and got to meet some of the pros, etc... Just think, you could be back in North America where we got lots of ice/snow over the past several days instead of 100 degree sunshine.
Sorry to hear that a great run ended that way.
take it down JG
FTP Forum meets down under, GO JON
Now thats a story you can tell for the rest of your life !!! Nice Job and keep it up !
Hey man,Good Luck!Hope all goes well..have a safe trip also..
Day 1 complete.
Start stack: 20,000
End stack: 31,600
Highlight: Sucking out with AK vs Chris Ferguson's KK. He raised and I pushed, he called. I don't regret it, just bad timing he had KK. I spiked my ace.

hey bud, sorry, im there at nighto n the 6th and fly out on the 8th at 1130pm, but I'm there with my girlfriend and we want to see the city. I'm sure she'll be seeing me play poker enough in australia and so it wouldnt be too much for her if I was playing there too.
Next time though
No problem. If I could recommend a good restaurant while you're there - The Stinking Rose - on La Cienega. A nice chill bar is: Sky Bar. Have fun and good luck.
Always enjoyed watching your online play bud. GL and hope you do well. You are an outstanding player.
Yo man...if you're in LA on the 6th...for how long? We could go play at the Bike or something.
