Not wrong spelling at all. -our and -re is the canadian spelling the -or and -er are american. The canadian way has a french influence is why.
That may be true but "you're" and "your" is far more common, as in "your a moron".
Also "too" and "to" and "there", "they're", and "their". Come to think of it what about "ill" and "I'll"...?
