I played multiple sit n gos today. I've won some and lost some.

A very obvious thing that has happened over 5 times today is that if you are the short stack, and you go all-in, you WILL lose, most likley on the river. It does not matter how few outs the other person has, you will lose.

My hypothesis is that the software nearly gaurantees that the short stack will lose 99% of the time in order to speed up the sit n gos so that Full Tilt makes more money on reg fees. It is similar to a restaurant turning tables. If people are sitting at the tables, you cant make any more money so youd better get them outta there.

I played numerous site sit n gos and have never experienced a thing like this.

It is either and really really really really lreally long period of absurd bad luck, or the site is rigged. Play sit n gos and form your own opinion.

I have to agree about the sit and gos and the whole site.

How can i fold the nut flush when he goes all in on the turn?

If this convinces one person, its worth posting!

2 outters always means coin flip on this rigged site!

  4.

It's horribly rigged. I win quite often here, and that shouldn't be the case. I'm a mega-donk. I have no poker skills what so ever. Yet I keep profiting from playing at the sng's and cash games here. So with this I advice all people that are losing and believe it's rigged to start doing what I do.

    1) Get in with the worst of it. Seriously. All the donkies do it and they profit, so why shouldn't you? Screw the system. If OMGMONEYBAGSXXX can hit a full boat with 72o from after calling a raise and re-raise, he knew something. This is what he knew.

    2) Play games way above your level. Hopefully play against pros in red. I mean, donkies are the ones getting paid. How can you say you're better than Allen Cunningham or Phil Ivey? You can't, and FTP knows this. Now you're automatically a donk and will receive major suckout advantages. After all, they get paid just to sit down and look pretty. The money isn't theirs to lose, and when you beat them, you can brag about it. Just don't go back to the tables you can beat or you'll lose that money quickly.

    3) Play games you have no idea how to play. Once again, this makes you appear to be an idiot, but really you're just a genius that can screw the system. FTP will notice that you haven't played a game of 7 card stud and realize you have to be a fish there. So once again you get all the advantages!

Once you feel that FTP is catching on to you, close your account and make a new one a month later. Before they try to close that new account, deposit and donk it up! You'll be millionaires in no time! When you are, I hope you think of me and this guide.

    I just don't get it.

I see people complaining during games about sites being rigged (every site I've evr played on there are people complaining) and the next time you see them they are still complaining.

If you thought it was rigged why would you still be playing there?

It is easy to see why people with such faulty logic circuits would lose a lot...

Full Tilt must be rigged. certainly the times i've won or finished in the money had nothing to do with my skill or hand selection.

it's all just luck and the mercy of which player the server has decided will win today.

  9.

Sorry to say this but I have been in shortstack situations before and managed to come back. I really dont think the software is rigged. As I cash in a good amount of my tourneys

in my opinion, i think that short stacks are rigged to win. it seems like whenever im about to make the $, all the short stacks double up 8 times in a row. this one time 4 short stacks moved in w/ 72offsuit and beat three opponents who had pocket aces and royal flushes. i think that it is the corporation people at full tilt trying to piss me off to make every time i play. it is soooo rigged.

here is my other theory. i think that they rig full tilt so that people will make posts about how rigged it is on the forum. that way, there will be more internet pages in the forum where they can sell advertisements. that must be it!

So you have never had a 1-outer live? I have had 1-outers at least a dozen times live and can guarantee that they happen. Am I happy about it, NO, but you live and let live. If you get angry everytime some outdraws you, FIND ANOTHER GAME!!! I heard the Monopoly has no bad beats and Clue is quite a game as well. Give me a break, they happen everywhere, all the time, to everyone. So, in the immortal words of our PR friends....STFU!

And no i didnt fold everytime, i went all in and quadripled my money, until it was back up. But I am talking about play cash games, if you're talking about real money games, then i dont know.

Yep. Full tilt is rigged. That's why they added the pirate avatar, so the rigging would look like it was supposed to be there. If you look waaaaaaaay up, you'll even see a crow's nest.

  14.

    A real short, serious answer:

Quite a few people share the same paranoia as the original poster. They use tracking software and retain information on every single hand they play (some non-tinfoil hatters do this, too). If there were anything corrupting the fairness of the game, their long-term results would demonstrate this. Definitively. If there were real cheating, we would know it.

(And FullTilt knows that we'd know it, and they know we would take our money elsewhere.)

So I'm willing to gamble that it's fair.

  15.

It is easier to claim that a site is rigged, even make yourself believe it, then it is to admit to yourself that you may have played poorly.

  16.

I have often wondered about Full Tilt and in the past Poker Stars. I feel that I understand probabilities pretty well, it just seems to me that too, too often the lesser odds to win wins. I am not talking close hands. I am talking QQ versus 78 suited. I felt like they just want every hand to be dramatic, or a bad beat. I didn't realize we were being televised. The odds are the odds for a reason. The better hand should win a majority of the time.

I never thought about things from your perspective, though. I appreciate it and will watch out for it.

P.S. I am not a newbie, either, and the lesser hand wins WAY too often. It seems to be when a putz calls a big bet he shouldn't.

I don't think so. It may just seem like that if you are the short stack that you will lose all the time. I played a few today but everyone of them I was shortstacked and came back to win. The last one I played I was being beaten 12990 to 510 HU and still came back to beat the guy to take first. So it isn't always like that. Small stacks do win if u know how to play them.

Oh, no no no. Didnt' you hear? They use action flops to juice the rake in the cash games. It's a completely different algorithm. Plus you have to factor in the doom switch. It's a dangerous game, that online poker. Good thing Uncle Sam is cracking down.
