    ive jsut recently started playing omaha and i know in holdem the best starting hand is AA and the worse is 7 2 off...i was jsut wondering what would be considered the best and worst hand in omaha

    I believe the two best Omaha starting hands are AAKKds and 89TJds. AAKK is the best powerhouse, 89TJ the best drawing hand.

    Best Hands - AAKK double suited or AAJT double suited

    Worst Hand - 2222

    As someone said, 2222 is the worst hand in Omaha; it is actually drawing dead before the flop to any hand with at least one pair (even 338K).

    I prefer AAJ10 ds to AAKK (aaj10 is very easy to play most of the time). QJ109 ds is also a good drawing hand.

    the AAK2 is only better in O8B.....otherwise the AAKK takes the cake for me

    I like AAK2 double suited myself.

    However I am not a great Omaha player, so don't take my word for it.
