On the turn and river, especially with more than 2-3 people in the hand?

I think it is - I find myself to still win money even if i win a quarter of the pot by raising the turn/river every time, and reraising any raise.

Pot limit's different though. I also prefer pot limit, as you get less players to the next card.

getting quartered on the low only can only result in a couple of situations, one you are heads up from the flop, you lose. 3 players to the river and you split the low you will lose 25% of your money assuming only 3 people saw the flop. with 4 from the flop and you split the low you will break even regardless of how much the high wins. so for this to be a good Idea to raise away with nut low is to have at least 5 players in the pot at the river and only share the low with one. Good luck with those raises

the exception to this is when it gets checked around to you and you have a made low. it's worth it to bet because you can get called by a worse low and you may end up taking the pot down if no one has a high hand worth playing. but if there are bets flying around, you would be wise to just call.

In PLO especially, I like to bet my made lows hard when I sense weakness on the other players. Maybe the board pairs before they can make their flush/straight draws, so if you have the made low and they're still drawing to their high, you can often get them to fold with a hard bet. It can be risky, but if your reads are on spot, that's the other way to scoop the pot.

Another exception is if you have the nut low, but you're trying to represent high. The object is to get the other guy to believe the best that can happen is they only get quartered and therefore feel that forfeit his low is best. Of course, in lower limits this won't be as useful of a technique.

kloaked's suggestion about betting lows is a very good strategy in PL games. You can often get oppoents holding 2 pair for high to fold if you're representing a straight or a flush with this type of bet.

Well put kloaked! If you have the nut low and are showing an open ended straight a raise might just get you the whole pot(in certain scenarios).I am not saying that I will always do this, but if there are the right amount of hands, with the right cards showing ,I will become very aggressive with the nut low!Agree or disagree it has been profitable for me!

The idea is to scoop the pot. Never bet the nut low, chances are someone else has nut low. You will lose money in the long run betting only the nut low.

By raising with only the low and no shot at the high you are limiting your possible winnings by pushing players out of the pot. Keep them in. You want at least four players in if you get quartered. It is very rare that I will raise with only a nut low.

I completely agree with this ... you need at least 5 people in the hand for your low to produce a profit ... and you should probably never be aggressive with only a low.

I'm not quite sure how you are making money if you are constantly being 1/4d. Explain.
