CuteIsWhatIAim4 ???
tough decision here IMO
what do you guys think?
u have to take into everything he has done in the past at that table and what u put him on .....if u put your opponent on a flush draw and the spade falls then u have to fold...if u put him on a set or 2 pr then u call.....in u make a read and trust it
Funny, I was thinking the same thing, along the lines of AKs/AQs/AJs/ATs
I was about to recommend pushing on the turn, as CitizenCain suggests,
to make him pay the maximum price for being such a chaser, but then I saw your response
Call and pray. Your bet on the river was a little small. He may just be trying to bluff you.
Thats a fold at this level IMO - unless you really want to call his flush bluff.
Also raise more pre flop - say to about 0.80.
Looking at the hand history, I think that you should have been more aggressive in your betting patterns. Your perflop raise should have been about 70 or 80 cents to keep players from getting the right odds to call. After hitting top set, I recommend betting 3/4 of the pot or a pot bet to see how your opponent responds. Probably would push all in on the turn to force the draw out. If called, hope your hands holds up and reap the rewards. Remember not to be so passive playing for such low limits.
there are only 2 draws out there that call both bets... either flush draw or 10 9, if he has 9 10 of spades he's not going anywhere...
i agree with most of u guys, raise more preflop and overbet the turn or go all in, people love to chase at the low limits, and if he had what he said he had u would have doubled up if u had gone all in on the turn
I did make the mistake of betting small on the river because I had him on a flush draw and so when the spade hit i figured he hit it.
I folded and he told me he had jacks and fours.
