Can you please explain what you hope to accomplish with a min raise when there's already 2 limpers in the pot and the blinds yet to act? Do you really think it's a good idea to encourage a multi-way pot when you have pocket aces?

After your terrible min-raise, this would be the best outcome you could possibly hope for. Someone else re-raised. Calling here will only encourage everyone else in the pot to call. Not raising here was by far your worst play of the hand.

They do when you let it happen. You had several chances to push the crap hands out, but you played waaaaaaay too weak.

HuJwang can explain himself, but here's my opinion:

Crap hands can win if you let them win and that's what your slow play / passive play did here. No, I'm not saying you needed to push pre-flop, but a much stronger pre-flop raise with your rockets could have saved you the aggravation. You min raised .20 into a .50 pot? why wouldn't they call.

You hit a set on the flop but it shows a possible flush. Too late to do anything about the all-in in front of you and the guy behind you with the flush draw was getting odds. I can't fault his call there.

The time to take control of that hand was pre-flop.

On a side note, this HH is a great example of why converters are good. Look at all the stupid irrelevant crap you have to read through just to see what the action is.

  2.

That's fine. Post pictures. Post useless crap all over the place in this forum. Just do everyone here a favor and don't post anything related. You clearly are better at posting pictures than playing .

  3.

The point is I am qualified to post useless crap annnnnnnnnnnd related material. Because I, unlike you, am a winning player. I, unlike you, don't butcher hands (at NL$10 lol) and then come on a forum and try to berate the other idiot, and FTP for my own mistakes.

You are a moron. Honestly, your ROI is probably higher scratching off lottery tickets than it is playing the lowest limit of NLHE that you can find on the internet. What do you have to lose? Clearly not your dignity.

  4.

PokerJess0 has it spot on. This is by some way, the worst example of how NOT to play AA in a cash game that I have EVER seen.

Quite frankly sir, if you can't accept that your disgustingly bad play invited the end result of you losing the hand, then your long posting history has taught you very little about how to .

Please don't feel as though the whole world is flaming you here. There is a lot of constructive criticism in this thread. Try to take it on board.

There are times and situations where slow-playing a monster hand is the most effective way of extracting value. This particular situation was almost the exact opposite. You MUST raise heavily to force the early limpers to fold, or call with incorrect odds. Otherwise, your opponents are not making mistakes. You WILL NOT win at until you can create opportunities for your opponents to make mistakes.

Besides that obvious your also playing .05/.10 tables. The play at that level is very bad... Trust me I know... I'm one of them.

A/A you have to push that harder than a raise of .10 I'd call that everytime and hope to catch a flop like he did.

I use to blame too. That was before I realized most of it was my bad playing.

This is a forum, so hands are talked about.

You are a newbie who knows nothing about this forum. You set an example on why newbies are bashed when they first start posting.

Some of us posters are trying very hard not to bash down your deep throat about your stupid first time posts , when you first start posting. So I wouldn't do that for you first couple of posts.

You should read around the forum and learn about some of the great posts that are here. You might learn something besides HA HA HA and LOL LOL. Those are words for children in grade school.

This is not bashing, just a very easy learning experence for a newbie and there first couple of posts.

You let him in by minraising with AA. He might still have called PF with a larger raise, but you gave him no reason to fold.

Hey, try not to let him get to you. It was insulting... you're a beginner. We were all beginners at some point. All beginners are tempted to slow play their pocket aces, and then one day you learn how dangerous it is. I find insulting a beginner to be one of the lowest things you can do though. Keep improving and keep at it, and remember that most people gave constructive advice instead of lashing out at you.

  5.

U MINRAISED WITH ACES DONKEY STOP CRYING ABOUT LOSING TO A DRAW

i play 1/2 and i call with 8 6 suited cos it is a disguised hand with massive reverse implied odds

Iv had my fair share of bad beats on FTP but you play preflop was terrible

  6.

AA is never a guaranteed win like most people think it is.

  7.

    I luv the min raises.

You played your AA for action and you got it. Don't be surprised when someone flops a good draw and outdraws you when you priced them in the whole way.

I have to remind myself that at these friggen donk levels (I am playing right along with you) that it is really "NO FOLD'EM HOLD'EM" being played.

I think you needed to push after the first re raise . but I wasn't at the table with you . I would rather be in a coin flip with 1 player than 2 or three , Truth is I have stopped putting all my chips in with a single pair pre-flop in a ring game. Tourneys with escalating blinds are a different beast entirely .

Or how about talking about computers?

    Or about High schools?

Maybe I did play the AA bad. But I think there are Donks who call any hand if they think they could win. So with that being said, I think this donk would have called anything with his 6,8 suited. Even if I would have raised higher preflop.

I watched the table after this hand and he was calling every hand for 5 hands with junk hands. I left after that.

    Ya gotta be kidding.

I lost AA to KQ and KJ all in preflop to runner runner K K and itw as for more than 4 bucks and I still didnt post here.

    LOL

  9.

You can't control how other people play. You can only control how you play. And you don't play very well. You would probably be doing yourself a favor cashing out all of your money and investing it into lottery tickets.

Dealt to FOUR ASES [Ad Ac]

    FOUR ASES raises to $0.20

You dont want to be minraising AA, that gives odds for others to limp in with drawing hands. PF i would raise to at least $.4, seeing as there is already a limper in the pot.

After the first all in on the flop, I'm shoving to isolate. As good as it looks for you, 68hh is only a 2-1 dog at that point. He limped in, hit a draw and it paid off. Don't price him in with strong hands and you wont have to worry about it as much
