I think I beat everyone so fair, 127.
Your Poker IQ score is: 127
It's actually a Poker IQ Test. I don't know where the donkey test came from. It is done by an online testing service that does normal IQ tests as well. The higher the score the better.
Dear DD,
Thank you for your interest in the test at DonkeyTest.com.
Your Poker IQ score is: 117
Yeah, my regular IQ is 65, but poker IQ is what counts.
My Poker IQ was 119. Can someone please post what the different levels in the scores are? I dont have a bankroll so I usally play at .10 or .25NL cash games and lose on bad beats. The only time I lose at those games are due to bad beats.
i got a 104. where do you find your weaknesses?
That's what my prom date said too.
Okay stausse if your specialty is bluffing ,what did you really score?
I got a 93, but these tests are more for fun than anything. I mean I like to think I'm pretty intelligent, but I got like a MENSA status on an online IQ test. Cool test nonetheless.
dodge these said he got a 117.
It should be going up. I know a guy who wants to find out the answers to some of the questions on the test, so he is taking the test and answers only one question to see how the different answers are scored. I'm not sure if their SW is smart enough to DQ his results from the result pool. If he's doing it, I'm sure others are too.
I did, it's yet another question in there taken from Harrington on HoldEm.
And I got 103. Woo.
I got a 113. I got a 0 on computational speed. Probably wasn't the best idea to take it at 5 in the morning. I have been up all night and couldn't sleep. Ok, I'm going to bed now.
PS I also didn't like how my guy played some of his hands.
I scored 93
Your PokerIQ is: 120
i got a 102.. yay me im average
i got 117
Comrad,
The question you are doing the parody of was precisely because you don't want to fold or go all-in. It fooled me because I was doing them quickly and forgot the stack sizes. It's really a disguised version of the hand analysis Harrington does on going all-in preflop w/ QQ. You have a strong hand (2-pair) with a little bit in the pot and a very deep stack. Your opponent has also indicated a strong hand. Would you rather fold or make a bet that is only called by someone who can beat you? Even if you assume that only the stone cold nuts calls you, your stack is so big that all-in is EV-. They wanted to see if you would stop and do the math.
Cool man - Forumpro - You find time for all this. How did you miss commenting on this topic. This is also there in multiple places.
Right man for the right job.
I know you are confused - what I am trying to say.
Just for you - All I am saying is - normally you find time only to say - after you read a post - this is already there here - a repeat one.
This should be in this section.
and all crap blah blah blah.
So I am surprised you found time for all this.
GG
yeah i got a 0 for computational speed as well. i think maybe their clock is screwed up or something, because it said i did worse in speed than 99.99% of everyone who took the test, which i seriously doubt
tried it again and did my best i think at a 136..............
sadly, i am a big losing player at FULL TILT POKER:(
I got a 108, with my specialties being bluffing, positional play, and aggression.
It was just a joke about a spelling error.
The more people are taking this test the smarter I look. I logged back on and my original score of 117 is now up to 123 .
Also checked my retake where i got 128.... up to 136 ... but of course that has 100 for computational speed so it is probably a couple of points lower, but still just sitting on my ass I am getting smarter and smarter as more people take the test.
Fill out that short, two-question questionnaire, and you will be given a long write-up on your test (from which you can find your weaknesses).
but your regular IQ isnt as high. you mean to say everyone so far. im sorry. i mean no offense. im kidding but i couldnt pass that up.
Doesn't count if you beat my score by cheating.
lol
0% !!! I don't recomend falling asleep while taking the test.
I still got a 120. Maybe this one doesn't effect the overall score?
88
It just confirmed what I already knew: I'm a PL Omaha player, not NL Hold 'Em
Horray for me... I got a 97
Yeah some of the questions you could really go either way with the info they gave you. What I really hated most were the min raises from experts, I suppose that could happen when they are trying to sucker you in, but to see it come up a few times in 40 questions seemed a little excessive. Either way I took the test over and went with my second choice on some of what I thought were tossups and got a 128! Guess I should second guess myself a bit more, or at least take more time... oh wait we only have 30 seconds max. So in that respect having the test give a time penalty makes sense.
slow computer. Shut up Junk.Last edited by drcossack on Mon Dec 18, 2006 10:13 pm; edited 1 time in total
Scored a 114, with a 0% in computational speed. According to the test, I'm a complete failure at tournament play with a 12%, but I'm the all time best small or medium pairs player, with a 100%.

I thought the test left out critical information on some questions, and had no idea it was timed, as I certainly took my time.
Pretty new here to the boards, and the reading has been interesting. Thanks.

116 can anyone beat it????? I did stop playing 1-2nl once i found out it was a timed test.
I got a 98. Its a good test and makes you think about it. I was more of a call with the big hands IE QQQ KK in the cash games as im willing to go broke with a big hand pre flop.
I rated a 75. Yikes! It took me a while to take this test, I was at work at the time.
I call.
You do know I was just kiddinig earlier, right?
i scored 109 dont know if it means anything or not i find these are more for fun than anything else however i would like to see some of the pros take it and compare scores with them
yeah, I wouldn;t have played the sme of teh hands teh way they said i did... and as far as computational speed, is think the ones that are making us look bad are mainly donks cause most people here got a low score cause we probably overanalyze the hands taking the test past midnight. I got a 0 too and then went back and eneterd all the same answers as fast as I could from memory and got 100 and it only changes the results a couple of points. Changing an answer or 2 will make more of a difference.
I didnt know speed had anything to do with it.. Crap i was playing 2 tables and doing it inbetween hands. Maybe that killed me abit.
i'm seriously questioning how accurate this test is.
Well as you can see my IQ is already the best and since it is derived from the NLHE test I think we better stick to swords or pistols (even though I did bomb the toureny section) for your sake .
I scored a 99, but my IQ is 142. I guess this means I'm smart, but dumb at poker. Oh well.
I didnt realize speed was in the equation, I was busy playing while I was taking the test. Dam, I could have been the winner.
122, I guess I still need to improve more...
I think the number reflects the percentage of your play that is donkeyesque
Your PokerIQ is: 107
haha I got higher than all of you!!
Swords? Pistols? Heads-up NLHE tournament? IQ test?
i got 111, totally owned all of you
my best categories were flop texture, logic, and betting patterns
oops. Comp was slow.Last edited by drcossack on Mon Dec 18, 2006 10:12 pm; edited 1 time in total
