I mean, it's got to be pretty obvious to anyone that I have a ten at this point, yet he comes over the top anyway. I don't see a way I have him outkicked here, unless he's limping in EP with 10 7 sooooted.
Thoughts?
this comment made me lol. It's just so results orientated it's amazing. Roll your eyes at my arrogance but at least i'm right.
You're the master of the condescending comment with absolutely no reasoning to back up your message. I think the fold was correct in the short run, the long run, the medium run and the mile run. I simply commented that I will never know in this case if it was actually right. Granted, the results would not necessarily provide the correct answer to how to correctly play the hand, but I was simply stating a fact to all that took the time to reply here, ya know, in sort of a conclusion to the thread. The reason I originally excluded the results was to not be results oriented in the thread. I find that most readers do like to see the actual results after the hand discussion ends. That exludes you, because you're a douchebag.
As for full ring games, I enjoy playing them and I find them profitable, not that I should have to defend that to you. Your arrogant attitude is one of the reasons that talk dies on forums such as this; certain players think they are holier than thou and know better than others. Maybe if you'd come back down to Earth you could actually partake in talk and improve your game. As is, at least it's clear what your forum title should be - Forum Douchebag.
you're implying that i'm immature like this is something that is supposed to bother me. it doesn't, i know that it's the case.
How about we play for a million bajillion dollars? We can escrow 500 trillion and not stop until someone loses it all. If you don't accept this childish challenge, then my male member is larger than yours. It's science.
Go ahead and say what you like from here. You win. You're awesome. I'm a coward who won't play your 1k freezeout challenge. You are a sweet player who is destined to win ten bracelets. I am dumb for playing full ring games, despite the fact that I enjoy them. The list is endless...
Good luck in all your future endeavors.
Wow, grow the **** up.
I fold unless I have a read that the opponent is a super aggro donkey player. You made it very obvious you like your hand and he still fights back? I'm guessing he has JT or AT... something very strong anyway. Its always dissapointing to fold trips but I think its the right move here.
500 freezout?
You're not my mother! You're a SNORT!Last edited by nilgiri on Mon Dec 17, 2007 6:34 pm; edited 1 time in total
ew, full ring. raise more on the flop (like 7.5) and fold as played. You should quit playing FR before you kill yourself too.
Agreed his raise should have been higher - but surely no need to post in that tone. Your posts stink and you seem like a know it all.
My thought was a semi-bluff raise with KQ. Seems people at the lower levels have zero respect for a paired board. My gut says go ahead and get it in. If he's on the draw, you're a good favorite. If he's got JJ, he played it really odd. If he's got T9+, pray for an 8.
My Dad is better than your Dad.
wow what a dilemma. I honestly dont know what to suggest here. Obv the gut says push u just hit trips on the flop. Then the more i think bout it the more i think you could well be down here. Would be an extremely tough lay down though. This is a judgement call. Theres fors and againsts and i honestly dont know what id do in this situation. I guess it depends how much you value your $60. sorry i couldnt be more help.
nevveeerrrrrrr
hey do u know classified?
thanks for calling me a master, but i do in fact back up what i believe with reasoning. If i don't it's due to the fact i believe something to be incredibly standard.
do you realize that is a game of hand ranges and not exact hands? It's correct if you're behind the majority of his range, not exact holdings.
it's nice that you like closure, but it's completely unnecessary
sure, keep playing FR. I don't care. Just saying that it's not the most profitable game to be playing if you're a strong player.
this is wrong. do you see why?
it hurts me that someone on the internet feels that i am a douchebag. it really does.
seriously though, if you want, i'll play you in a 1k freezout. 2 tables of 100nl HU. 500 escrowed so neither of us can quit until the match is over. Loser leaves the forum? Note that i don't expect you to accept this, but i'm throwing it out there if you're interested.
what are you my mother? i'll post in whatever tone i want
Hes either got Jacks or its a cooler......(state the obvious by me....)
Seeing as how he limped in, flat called and THEN re-raised he could have Jacks and hope you have a 10.......you also have a kicker problem....unless you have a strong read its one of those hands where you either fold now or your all in right now.
Maybe a straight draw raise with KQ s?
Could you at least elaborate as to what exactly you mean by your comment? It seems that you are so awesome that not only your skills are better than everyone's, but your game selection is as well?
As for the hand itself, I folded. Sorry for no results all, I'll never know if it was a good lay down or not.
When you say "that comment" i assume you mean the one about full ring. Full ring is boring. Not only is it boring, but you have to fold sooo much and the better a player you are, the bigger your edge is with the least opponents. So if you're a good player, your winrate will be higher at 6max than FR. and higher at HU vs 6max. do you see why?
this comment made me lol. It's just so results orientated it's amazing. Roll your eyes at my arrogance but at least i'm right.
I probably fold. You just can't beat much. I mean there is some small chance that he idiotically limped QQ+ into a multiway pot, or just can't get away from AJ, or is going crazy with an OESD, But imo it's more likely he's got a T, and he's probably got you outkicked. Since you've only put $5 into the pot, fold, though if you'd put in more it would be a much tougher decision.
