Thnx for the feedback guys. I guess I could have played it different but as played I did push all in. He thought for a sec then called and flipped over 99. I asked why he even thought about it.
It came blank blank and I lost. I thought it was the right push though.
Moved to MTT forum. This is an easy shove, you have a huge draw. I'm not a big fan of PF and would usually much rather just raise myself. As played I don't really like the lead with these stack sizes because if he raises that bet with any kind of a hand he's probably not folding it to a shove. I'd prefer either checkraising all-in or checkraising smaller and calling a shove, depending on how much he bets.
Your hand is a monster now. Shove all in, be happy no matter what the outcome.
You have too much equity here against so many hands. Even if he turns up t he nut straight or a set here every time he makes that raise you have 41% here and that's a worst case scenario. You know there's all kinds of junk in his range as well that's only going to make you more of a favorite. If he has a flush draw w/ two overs like AcKc You have the opposite and are 58%. Not to mention all the fold equity and dead money in the pot. This should be an all in no matter what.
Darrkelf, where did you get 35%?
I think he has an overpair, maybe AA or KK. You're actually a fav with a pair and both a flush and straight draw. I'd push.
Much easier than typing this myself.
+1
You have 35% chance of making your flush. I'd assume from the flop that your opponent is either:
a) if loose aggressive then maybe bluffing
b) if tight then on 2 pair, trips or straight TJ or straight or flush draw
If you think he's on 2 pair, trips or the straight then I'd either call or re-raise - a 35% chance to hit when you're not risking all your chips and the blinds are getting a bit higher is worth taking in my opinion
As chip leader even if you miss and can't get him off the pot you still have plenty of chips to play
My only fold here would be if I read him as chasing the flush too and think he has high card (Ac/Kc/Qc)

Disregard the twit that said you're 35% to win. Shove.
