Ok, so this month I've worked on playing Sit N Gos. I play mostly the $6.50 turbos with a few $12. Anyway I decided to try a $4.40 9 person token satellite. The play was really weak, and I basically won playing my ABC Sit N Go strategy.

My question is for any of you Sit N Go specialists or even MTT guys who play in these frequently. What adjustments do I have to make in this format? Can you beat these playing a basic Sit N Go strategy? Any help would be appreciated.

Yep, Pockett10's thats about what you can expect at those levels. People jumping off rooves and theres no fire! More $$$ for you. Just sit back watch the all n's and attack when you see an opening, Basic ABC.

If people get knocked out early, the blinds are still low. You have to open up some, but you don't need to push the first crappy ace you see.

Whats up pockett10's? I will take a shot @ your question. Since youve played $6.50 to $12 TURBO SnG's, assuming you win them pretty consistantly I think that you have all the experience you need to take down lower limits such as $4.40. As a matter a fact I think that you will probably get board with the action not with the winning. I dont think you will have to adjust your play at all, except when you run into that occassional solid player thats at your table and it seems that all the cards are running his way. I think that because you are used to the fast paced action of the turbo's as well as the higher limits ( better players), you wont have to worry to much about ajusting. Good Luck! Get $$$$

Yep, just as MVP04X3 stated. It is "basic" no limit holdem strategy. No risky bluffs or over the top glamourus moves.

Actually ABC Sit N Go strategy has more to do with playing tight early and opening up as people get knocked out. My problem was people got knocked out so quickly we got to three handed really quickly. Everyone had pretty big stacks. I wondered if this was typical.

ABC strategy = betting when you have a hand, folding when you don't, not bluffing away your chips. You mostly come into pots for raises and let it go when you miss and your C-bet is called.
