    Anyone can get rakeback, not just VIPs. It just won't be straight from Full Tilt. You'll need to go through another site.

    In that case you probably can't get it. The only way that site can get you rakeback is usually if you haven't been active - that is, they tell FTP that they'll get you to play again if they give that site part of your rake. Then they give part of that back to you.

    Giving a famous pro rake back is just like when retailers, restaurants, and night clubs give celebrities freebies. It attracks more attention to their site, or store, or club. Full Tilt's moto is, where the pros play. They will do what they can to get more pros playing here to attract more business. Sounds about right to me.

    Wow, someone's disillusioned by Party. You think that nobody gets rakeback from there? They're even more exclusive as to who gets it there as not every affiliate can offer it.

    Of course, if you were truly concerned about the rake, you'd be smart and go to wsex.com as you'd get 100% of the rake you generated every week.

    Exactly, once you are signed up to a site your screwed unless you turn pro.

    But the affilaites arent making mass income fromthe rake back, think they only get at most 30%... so their moneys coming from other sources I assume.

    Plus I couldnt find any affiliate rakebacks for fullcontact or pkr, so I just tried to find someone to give the referral bonus too.

    I'm not sure how different sites do it, but at some sites that I have looked into rakeback for you have to contribute to the rake to get rakeback, not just get dealt cards. That means that most people at the table do not contribute to the rake so if only 2 of you saw the flop and contributed to the rake you would get significantly more than the rake/10*.27. It would be more like rake/(2 or 3)*.27. But like I said I don't know how UB works specifically.

    If anyone feels that left out about the rakeback opportunity, close your account, aquire another email address and open a new account via the Hendon Mob rakeback link. If you're not interested in that, how about learning to get over it.

I mean, there could be other affiliate sites that you could find somewhere (http://www.rakerebatereview.com/) that could list all the rakeback offers for me to look at! Maybe then at this place (http://www.rakerebatereview.com/) I could get the 27% that I so desparately want! Now where should I go to find it?

    The Hendon Mob consists of Ross and Barny Boatman, Joe Beevers and, dam drawing a blank on the 4th guys name( a South Asian Brit) who are just a crew of solid British players that started tearing up the scene together in the late '90's.     Party makes you play 200 hands to redeem your gifts and they don't rebate to some and not others. 24h Poker just started a rebate program and they had the sense to offer it to all players, all the time. That's why

    Stockholm is such a different city than L.A. Jesus spends too much time in refrigerators on commercials and pays less attention to the game theory

    of unequal rewards to FTP players. I just returned to the forum for the laughs. I'm over FT. Ciao.

    Honestly, if you look around anyone can get rakeback from almost any site online now... And that includes Full Tilt, Poker Stars, Ultimate Bet, BoDog, All in Poker, Party Poker, Paradise, and most others... I know because I get rakeback at all of these... Though I admit, I don't play much ring games..

    And besides rakeback has no effect on winning a pot.. For the average player it is a very small amout anyways, the levels at which the Mob and other pros play, then it becomes nice pocket money..

    I've had my FTP account for almost 2 years and I was able to switch and pick up RB. It's not hard and it's overrated IMO FTP has one of the worst affiliate programs of the major sites.

    I hate to burst your bubble, but I have rakeback accounts on UB and Bodog as well.

    You'd better stick to Party and Stars if this really upsets you. It is just a way to attract new players is all. There are many affiliates that you can use to setup rakeback with....provided you don't already have an account.

    It is not even that great.

    The way rakeback works is like this:

    Take the rake and divide it by the # of players dealt cards in the hand. So, if you are playing on UB (which has 10 seated tables) and the rake is the max $3 dollars. Then everyone at the table paid .30 in rake.

    At 27%, the player getting rakeback will get ~8 cents back.

    Rakeback is great for people like me that play WAY TO MUCH poker. I think my monthly return for last month was something like $600 dollars. But then again, that means that I paid 2,222 dollars in rake.

    WTF IS UP WITH THE HENDON MOB'S PLAYERS ON FTP GETTING A 27% MONTHLY RAKEBACK ON ALL THEIR PLAY -- THEY CALL IT VIP, WHAT MAKES THEM VIP OVER US WHO PRECEDED THEM? -- DO ANY OF YOU REALIZE HOW VALUABLE A 27% RAKEBACK IS ON A REPUTABLE SITE LIKE FTP? IT'S REAL MONEY EVERY MONTH, HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS. FTP WILL NOT GET ONE CENT OF MY RAKED POTS BECAUSE I'LL BE ON STARS, PARTY, ULTIMATE, BODOG AND 24H UNTIL WE ALL GET THE 27% RAKEBACK.     I just saw that the site I get rakeback through, says that even if you already have a Full Tilt account, they claim they can still sign you up for rakeback in some cases..
