Has anyone esle had their account canceled for being accused of fraud or being associated with someone who is involved in fraudulent activity? I just want to get more details as to what I might have done or who I was accociated with and what did they do. Most importantly, I would like my $363+ bankroll back. Any chance this might happen?
I didn't know the details about what happened to my friend when I started this post. He claims he did nothing unetical. Let's say you have $2000 in your full tilt bankroll and you decided to withdraw $500 using epassporte. For some reason epassporte runs the transaction twice. Now, instead of have $1500 in your Full Tilt account, you have $1000. Now, that isn't a big deal that the transaction got ran twice, but when he looked at his available funds on epassporte to transfer into his bank account there was only $500 available.
Since he transfered money into my account, months before this ever took place, I get my account canceled. And of course....bankroll GONE!
The olny thing fishy about my story is why I got my account canceled because of this.
The fact that Full Tilt doesn't deal with epassporte any more says a lot to me. I am sure they have had plenty of problems with them in the past. I would just like my bankroll back.
I have contacted Full Tilt Support. Below is the trail of emails:

Hello Full Tilt Poker,
I have been a loyal player on your site for over a year. I find it hard
to
believe that I have been involved in any fraudulent activity
considering
that I
typically play for 30-60mins before work in the mornings. Can I please
get some
more details on these completely false accusations? Is there a phone
number
that I can call to talk to someone in person about this. I am very
disappointed
about the actions that Full Tilt has taken and will let many of my
friends know
about the unfortunate experience.
I hope we can work this out.
Thanks,
Michael Haas

Has this happened to anyone?
Since Full Tilt Poker hasn't responded to my emails in about a month. I did some asking around to my friends who also play or played on Full Tilt Poker.
One friend in particlular made a withdraw from Full Tilt Poker of $500 to his epassporte account. For some reason, epassporte ran the transaction twice. They withdrew $1000, but only deposited $500 into his bank account. He made calls to his bank to try to sort out the matter and was able to talk to a representative from epassporte and a representative from his bank and the matter was resolved with epassporte having to deposit another $500 into his bank account. My connection with this person was that he transfered money into my account months before this ordeal took place. My guess is that epassporte went back to Full Tilt and wanted to be refunded for the 2nd $500. Full Tilt paid epassporte the money and canceled his account and any account that he had transferred money to.
Does Full Tilt still deal with Epassporte? Does this seems fair to anyone? Full Tilt will not respond to my emails and my bankroll is gone. Any suggestions as to what I can do?
Thanks in advance for your help.
Shameless bump.
Just want everyone to be aware that Full Tilt Poker can cancel your account even though you did nothing wrong.
FTP support is garbage!!!
Just received email that my account reopened. No excuse, no explanations.
Glad to see that Full Tilt Poker reopened your account. I am still in the dark as far as what they are going to do with my account. It sounds like we had similar situations. I would hope Full Tilt takes a look at my transaction history and does the right thing by reopening my account and with the bankroll that was in there when they canceled my account, $363.
Sounds like you knew about this before you started posting here. You have a bad choice in friends if he didn't return the money. You should not be yelling at FTP, but at your friend for being unethical. The money was not his yet he took it--are you surprised at the result? Really?
Hasn't happened to me. Contact FTP.

wow ambitious... nice pwnage of this n00b 8)
Although I am really not sure about specifics in your case, because it does sound a littttttle fishy, I am sure of one thing. Epassprte and FT do not work together very well. Epassporte has always given me problems. I havent had to deposit for a while but I am sure it is just as difficult now.
Doug,
Thanks for the reply. You don't know how frustrating this has been. I made my epassporte deposit over a year ago and have never made a withdraw. I believe that this has to do with me being associated with some that has been involved in fraudulent activity.
Does this seem right? How can full tilt clean out my account because of something that someone else has done. And to what level was I associated with him? All I am looking for is answers. I feel that I deserve a chance to defend myself against these rediculous charges.
Thanks again Doug!
PS It seems Full Tilt Poker Support has stopped replying to my emails.
haasmi,
I do not have the level of access to see specifics on these cases, but I can see that it is an issue with Epassporte.
If you are truly innocent, it looks like you will need to clear things up with Epassporte and have them notify Full Tilt that a mistake was made on their part.
Hope that helps,
Doug
