    Will some one please tell me again the order of ranking for the suits? Is it from high to low, S, H, D, C?

    For some reason I keep forgeting this. Is there some easy way to remember this?

    And does this ranking of suits only come into play for the bring ins?

    It only matters for bring ins or high cards for deal and the like. The order is backwards alphabetical: spades hearts diamonds clubs (SHDC - backwards alphabetical), like you said.
