There was an email delivered to all railbird.com members about giving out passwords on there website. Railbird.com has alot oF freerolls with Full Tilt Poker and PokerStars.
I cannot understand why a person would give out a password for a money prize tournament to someone who is not a member. The more players that play, your odds of winning any prize money drops off very fast.
I hope that railbirds.com and other websites that have freerolls, do not stop having them. I believe it is only a few players that is causing the password problem. Maybe the same players that MIGHT have caused the forum freeroll to stop.
Please do not give out passwords to private tournaments in this forum. Lets keep this forum to the highest standard of Poker.
yea im a railbird myself and the 1st railbird freeroll was like 400-450 players now its around 1100 thats quite a big increase unless a huge amount of people became railbirds in the past couple months
I read the thread in question on railbirds and I think that they may have overreacted a bit. The password in question is to freerolls there having mulitiple times a day. The password changes every game and its kind of like the old fourm freeroll. They give you a question and the answer is found on their website. Pretty easy questions reallly, like "What year did Poker Stars start?" and "How many FFP points does it take to get a stress star?" and "What month last year did Poker Stars deal its 5 Billionth hand?" Its not really like a "invite password" It looks more like its made to generate hits to their site.
There is a 30 minute window between the time regestration starts and the games starts. There filling them up with 15,000 people in that 30 minute window every time I have looked. Hmmm you can play for 7-8 hours to the final table. Finish 9th you get less then 6 bucks. I think that Full Tilts freerolls would be a better time investment.
That's all well and good, but how do you know which ones are from Railbird and which one's are from Full Tilt. I'm new to the Forum so I was tryiing to find out how to get password for the FOD Championship Freeroll. I was looking all over the place and never found it. I didn't know much about the forum until someone told me to check it out.
I was not referring to any posts in the railbird forum. I was more or less talking about other players giving out passwords to any private tournaments.
But I can understand why someone would ask for them. It is like playing poker, if you can steal the pot then why not.
I guess railbirds.com is getting tired of all the posts giving out passwords on there site.
Question: Do you think it's right to give out passwords for Private Tournaments in a public forum ? If so, then why ?
it wasn't me lol
Why dont you just say it?

BOTTOM LINE, I don't read most the crap I see on the internet cause everyone Is a NUB. I saw a subject, and I made a post In It.(without reading others post)
Change the subject.
