I hope Pete is still ok...

Great leaderboard Pete. You've done an excellent job!!!! As far as I know, we never had a column for monies won because the points were the only thing that counted towards the season winner and final table. I wouldn't worry about going back and trying to figure that out. It would be a pain in the azzzzzzz

  2.

Phoenix, after reading some of the posts you've made and some of the PM's you sent, it would appear to the casual observer that these are not in fun. If that is your intention, it's not coming off that way. Also, the Mr. Perfect theme song while a bit creative and funny, could come across as being arrogant. I have nothing against you nor do I think you're a horrible person. I'm just pointing out that it would appear that the comments don't seem to be as light-hearted as you may think.

Congrats on your recent success in the MBJ.

  3.

Kudos to you cubbies for being a bigger person and suggesting we move on.

Sorry for my offensive PMs and posts. I will tone it down in the future. I didn't realize I had po'd this many people. I understand that my behavior was inappropriate.

I'd like to be on a friendly basis with you all because I respect your games immensely and very much enjoy matching wits in the MBJ.

Others sometimes joke around about how they're going to win and what not...I hope we can all tolerate gentle ribbing and jokey bragging. I think I understand now the distinction between such good-natured showmanship and nasty, callous behavior and will be sensitive to this distinction from here on out.

Looking forward to the home stretch!

I wonder if using something like 'generate full tilt summaries' located at http://www.mattahfahtu.com/gfts/ could be incorporated into the process, making it easier to enter the players, their placement, ITM finishes, etc....

Here's a sample of the output (names changed obviously)

Full Tilt Poker Tournament #11611995, Hold'em NL

    BuyIn: $5.00/$0.50

    Tournament started - 2007/01/13 - 22:42:14 (ET)

    9 players

    1: player1, $22.50

    2: player2, $13.50

    3: smokindog, $9

    4: player4,

    5: player5,

    6: player6,

    7: player7,

    8: player8,

    9: player9,

I know that it doesn't matter as far as the points go, but poker is all about the money after all. Thanks for adding it by the way, seeing my results was a very pleasant surprise.

It's been a fun season so far. GL to all the rest of the way.

    Couple things:

First of all, it should be said once again that Pete does a great job with the leaderboard. We all appreciate your time.

Also, are we considering not counting the next two weeks due to the holidays? I know last year Xmas Eve and New Years Eve both fell on sundays, so we did not count those two weeks. But this year both Eves fall on Mondays. I have no problem personally either way, i'm just throwing it out there. Not sure if participation will decrease during this time of year.

i had 2/1 with the 82 that was actually a correct albeit embrassing call. unless he has a pair higher than 77 and as he shoved A6 we can assume his range is wider than that.

the 74 was the hand i took the wrong odds on my open ender. i have alreadly explained this. i'll play whatever trash i want preflop in unopened pots. well when everyone is that tight. for example he didn't reraise A10 from the bb, when my raising requirements from the sb were clearly not that high.

although i have nothing like her post flop skills. annette plays atc on the button pretty much, so shrug. i don't think raising with junk is nessicaryly bad although some do. i'm generally not a bad player (sharkscope me)

i guess alot of people were playin for points though. i just sensed major weakness and so raised alot. i've just started this week so needed to get going quick on the points.

Yeah, tough break mzbuns. I finished 2nd for the third time. I guess my HU game needs some work. But got all the chips in with A8 vs. KJ and he hit a J, what can you do? I win that hand, I have an over 2:1 chip lead. 2nd is still nice I guess, but I'm sick of being a bridesmaid!!! And I've never even heard of this bryn2 character who won!!! Good game bryn, some interesting calls and nice suckouts, but you played aggressive with the big stack, that's good . Till next week everyone!

We will skip the next few weeks for the holidays, but FTP points will be added as usual.

I did take offense, and you can read my response in the thread that is probably scrolling along as we speak.

It just amazes me how your tone tries to be so cordial in a post like this, but then your hot-headed temper gets the best of you when you're sending PMs to fellow forumers when you don't agree with a play(s).

    Enough is enough.

BTW, don't send me anymore PMs....I won't be opening them.

When are the points (FTP) usually added? I am guessing it has to be manually done since they arent in yet.
