The play online is much more loose than in live poker, it's undeniable. To call it rigged is conspiratorial whining. The major difference in online poker than live poker is this: Players don't have the tangible stack in front of them, so they don't appreciate the value of it as much as they woud in live poker. To those that have received bad beat after bad beat, it sucks. However, if b&m casinos were dealing as many hands as online sites, you would see just as many bad beats. In the WSOP there were at least 2 times I saw set of A's on the flop lose to 1 outers on the river. Yes, there are more bad players online cuz it's so much easier to access and it's cheaper than most b&m tourneys offer. I couldn't play in a live tourney for less than $100 in my area.
I'd hate to see that original poster play against the likes of Gus, DN, Farha, etc., he'd go nuts! lol
This is why it needs to be legalized in the US so that the govt could regulate and for once lmao i would be in favor of them regulating it.
For example felons could not be allowed to operate or play on these sites.
So much for Mike the Mouth LMAO who would trust an idiot that makes the final table in the main event of the WSOP and then tip toes up stairs in the casino and sells blow for a freind to a narc LMAO.
He would not be allowed to play period much less own or represent one as well as anyone convicted of fraud of any kind.
Problem is this opens a can of worms for the govt.
Big brother ect. so bottom line these smaller crooked sites are going to cause the sites like this one to no longer be able to take any players from the US.
I think that is the theme of this post and players supporting it.
Instead of these pros trying to beat the govt they should make some very public examples of these groups of players that collude and we all know that people collude.
They should catch a group of these people operating from the US and hang them out front and leave them there for all to see as a reminder of what happens when you collude.
This site could also take the first step and not let anyone that has had trouble with the law (a felon) represent this site in any way. It just does not look good and gives those opposed to legal online servers in the US more ground to stand on.
Clean up your image.
It also would help a whole lot if you supported people like me that have done a whole lot for poker including handing out thousands out of my own pocket to players even though i don't have a pot to piss in. You guys waited forever to even start taking affiliates which was a planed move to get everyone to sign up first. That makes me think you are shifty.
You don't care about me lmao

This seems to be an ongoing topic for online poker. I think that it is important to indicate that online poker play is much different than at tables. For starters, you are playing considerably more hands. Where at a table you may only average somewhere between 25-30 hands an hour, you are going through 70-80 hands an hour at an online table. With this said, many novice players (who lack card discipline) have a tendency to want to limp in to see every single flop and stay in when there is any glimmer of hope. I also have a belief about how online transactions can cause some people to play diiferently than when they are dealing with a very real chip stack at a table, but I won't go into that (LOL). When you go through so many hands, those players with bad hole cards, no sense of how a call might impact their stack, and no sense of good or bad draws are going to hit their draws from time to time. This does not mean that the site is rigged or that you are playing badly, it is just the nature, unfortunately, of playing online
that money's gotta go somewhere and it usually ends up being the better player in the long run.. I'm up a decent amount for online poker playing micros...
You always here the same thing from the people that defend online poker, and they are mainly talking about the top 5-10 sites (keep in mind all the people you here defend the online poker sites have NO proof of what they say, nor do they need it) You always here that they have to much to loose to rig it. Soon it may be against the law to either play on these sites, or for these sites to let any one in the USA have access.Your cable company may block the site by law too. Are they happy just sitting there letting the money come through these small ante's, knowing it may all end soon, or are they going to write into the program(which seems to update daily with new ad-ons to the program) a little more confrontational hands to get more in the pot. How do you know for sure that once in a while those updates do not have cheating in them. You always here if you can't win here, you must just plainly suck at poker, and how is it you play the same cards the people winning do.
are you people fcking retarded? Of course this **** is rigged. maybe you should get a pencil and paper and use it for once in your worthless life. start writing down a few certain things. ie how many coinflips you win or lose every month for 6 months, or what percent of the time you catch a set with your PP on the flop every month for 6 months. compare those 100,000 hands you play in a 6 month period to what should actually occur. You will find that in the beginning you win WAY MORE than your fair share of coinflips, and eventually you will win literally 2% of say 66 vs AQ.
You little monkeys who say players who question the integrity of online poker sites are bad players are the same **** peices of **** who go vote for people like Bush and Cheney. Please do the intelligent people a favor and go kill yourselves.
PS i have won more than 30k more than i have put in, I probably play more than everyone else reading this. Go do some math before you **** out of your idiot mouths.
Great post. No wonder you're a forum pro.

Manipulating the software is impossible, all the cards are probably kept server side, and you don't get your computer dosen't recieve any information on your opponents cards until they decide to show them. (This is all educated guessing, but if they did it any other way it would be just as hackable as an online video game, and thus widely known about).
Hopefully they don't rig the cards so that they get more rake, but they could. Although as many have said the gain from that dosen't seem to match with the possible loss, also the pro's that are affiliated with full tilt will receive ALOT of bs if it turns out that this is true, even if they knew nothing about it.
There is a way to test if it is rigged though, someone would have to write a program that worked sort of like a bot, but it just observed games, and anytime all hands where shown before the showdown becuase of an all-in it could record the winner, and match that up to the percentages, if it records 5000 hands, and the percentages are off by more than 5% then it would be very suspicious.
This is limited though, becuase it only works with hands where people go all in, any hands where both players show (either becuase the second person to show won the hand, or he chose to) could screw up the percentages becuase that has another factor in it, so those coulden't be counted. Also you can't determine if players are dealt hands that are more likely to go at it (AA vs AK, or KK, etc...), but it dosne't seem like AA vs KK hapens more often online then live.
Isn't this what a player of your experience would want? More bad players coming into the game feeds your bankroll if you can take advantage of it.
Or is your definition of a bad player someone who plays differently from you?
I am tired of this freaking argument, it is annoying to hear all the bad beat stories people complain about whilst at the same time acting like they've never dished one out in their life.
p.s. to the player that knocked me out of the 100 seat that called me all in with 7-3 suited pre flop to hit his flush, nh.....well played & I look for you everytime I'm on this site...don't change a thing
What site was that?
Can you copy the email and post it here?
FEAR THE DOOM SWITCH

Sometimes I scare myself...
busto!
LolOlolOl, how familiar. Another BUSTO ---> RIGGAT poster who has to stop, and insert the fact that they have won 10s of K on here, then go on to complain about how they are making money on a rigged site and continue to play on a rigged site, losing all situations as favourites but still making money LolOlolOl.
RIGGAT
I also believe the site is on the up an up,but not to say there's no collusion would be crazy just be carefull and aware. The site isn't rigged, but certain people in life will always try to cheat!

i have to disagree KGB.... comparatively, i find telemarketers to be quite refreshing
I'm not going to bash you. Why would I? You're entitled to your opinion and i'm entitled to mine. 1 correction, my opinion is not based on winning and losing. I stated that in my original post. Secondly, you answered your own question in your post. Rake in lower limits is exactly the reason they would be corrupt. Why? Because corruption is not expected at lower limits.
i was pretty content to be a lurker on this thread....but whatwildagn just made me laugh too much.

I know sharkscope isnt 100% accurate, but obviously this guy is just totally full of it when he says he has won 30K and plays more than everyone else....hahahahahahahah
i know i'm still new....and i'm not that great...but these conspiracy theory guys are irritating.
can this thread die now?
i agree
Bad players ruin the game? Do you not like money? Yes, sometimes they get lucky, but overall, they are giving their money away - why is this a bad thing?
LMAO
Way to go Tedy,
I am laughing so hard I am crying.....
WHY DON'T YOU TELL THE PEOPLE WHAT YOU DID TO ME FOR POSTING THAT?
WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY BUSTO,HUH?
THANKS FOR PROVING MY POINT TO ME 100% YOU SET ME TO MAXIMUM SUCKOUT. OVER WEEKS. I AM ON TO YOU, DON'T THINK YOU WILL GET ANOTHER DEPOSIT FROM ME. AND I AM A GREAT CUSTOMER. IT WOULD HAVE BEEN A LOT SMARTER NOT TO DO THAT TO ME YOU DISGUSTING CROOKED CHEATERS. YOU WILL ROAST FOR THIS.
I honestly don't know if the sites are rigged or not, but the games are very beatable; rigged or not. I respect your opinion and it certainly could be correct, but still, you should be able to crush the games, even if they are rigged. If now you say that they are rigged against YOU, this is where I don't believe that this is possible.
its not rigged... they have too much to lose and too little to gain... they make enough money already b/c of the loose players online, so why would they rig the site? im sure that none of the pro's would endorse this site if it were rigged...
go away... nobody wants to listen to your useless comments anymore... you're no better than the telemarketers who interrupt people's lives...
Statements of absolute certainty and blanket coverage often accompany such claims. It is obvious to me that the question is one that should be addressed only with a scientific and statistical viewpoint that is incompatible with such certainty.
On this touchy subject, I reserve the right to hit and run.
jaconda said it best....full tilt has nothing to gain and everything to lose by doing this...its like calling an all in with bad pot odds with a low pp....just stupid.
Umm, they max out the rake on many, many hands even without any rigging. People are just htat loose. Nothing to gain, everything to lose...
RIGGZ0RED!!!111!!
they are as random as real life, just get out ur cards and deal 9 dummy hands and the community cards and i think u will be surprised, online u see and play more hands<<<<<<<<<<<1,000th time this has been posted, so if u don't like it there are plenty of other sites out there that would be happy to take ur money 8)
1. If you don't trust online poker, DON'T PLAY!!
2. If you don't like online poker, DON'T PLAY!!
3. If you don't like bad players in poker, that means you don't want to make money, which means you should probably just put together a home game with a bunch of your rock friends and sit around all day and night pushing chips around and for the online and B&M games that you now find disgusting, DON'T PLAY!!
4. I'd like to let all the doomsayers know that you would have a better audience if you were spouting off about the apocalypse or some random piece of trivial nonsense. If you don't want to be berated or challenged on your opinions, then don't post them, for opinions are given with the idea of them being open to debate, that's what makes them opinions.
If you think that there's something fishy going on, report it .
Send your concerns to someone whos got the clout to get something done about it .
